Our Story
At Brave Stage Academy, our team of instructors is dedicated to igniting a love for drama in every student. With diverse backgrounds in acting, directing, and theatrical production, they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom. Our instructors are committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment, where each individual is encouraged to express themselves creatively and explore the depths of dramatic expression.
Meet the founder
- Jeffrey Anello
Jeffrey believes education should inspire creativity and empathy. Trained in Performing Arts, he moved to Hong Kong in 2007 to pursue his dream of nurturing young minds.
For over 17 years, he has guided students to find their voices - earning Outstanding Director and multiple Outstanding Actor and Cooperation Awards at the Hong Kong Schools Drama Festival. A TEDx Speaker (2015, 2016) and English Speech Award Judge for the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (2024, 2025).
Jeffrey continues to champion creative learning through his original “Speaking For All” and teacher development workshops. His mission is simple yet powerful: to make education an experience that nurtures confidence, compassion, and imagination.
